Interned at Tuscaloosa One Place, a family resource center, on my Applied Field Experience in spring.

They are at 810 27th Ave, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401, and their mission is to empower the community by providing access to resources.

In addition, they help promote self-sufficiency, strengthen families, and prevent child abuse and neglect, thus improving our community members' quality of life.

Took part in facilitating a public health event for the community in partnership with AmeriCorps members, TOP staff, and other interns.

Help make spreadsheets, made an educative brochure with general health-related information, and distributed them to various sites, places, and organizations, allowing people to learn more about public health issues in the community.

Through my office work in strengthening families, I have practiced active listening while learning from my superiors.
