  • I could motivate and improve the students' talents through running and coaching.

  • Encouraging students to fight for their dreams, both academically and through sports. 

  • I ensured that there was the provision of a learning platform and development through running for the students.

  • I have helped students in their weak areas in algebra and related math skills to daily life.

  • Through providing help and individualized plans, I worked to help students succeed in math and throughout their entire school careers. 

  • In addition, I offered advanced material to help students prepare for college and improve their confidence and study habits.

2018

Sports Journalist

  • At NMJC, I was part of the journalism announcements, and I covered track meets and cross-country events in real-time.

  • Interviewing people and recording their reactions to race was one of the most enjoyable aspects.

2022- Present

Intern 

  • Interned at Tuscaloosa One Place, a family resource center, on my Applied Field Experience in spring.

  • They are ‌at 810 27th Ave, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401, and their mission is to empower the community by providing access to resources.

  • In addition, they help promote self-sufficiency, strengthen families, and prevent child abuse and neglect, thus improving our community members' quality of life. 

  • Took part in facilitating a public health event for the community in partnership with AmeriCorps members, TOP staff, and other interns.

  •  Help make spreadsheets, made an educative brochure with general health-related information, and distributed them to various sites, places, and organizations, allowing people to learn more about public health issues in the community.

  • Through my office work in strengthening families, I have practiced active listening while learning from my superiors.

  • I have empowered teens and invested in people I have served and interacted with while leading by example. Below I have attached some of the upcoming events that I created as an intern at Tuscaloosa One Place.
