I’m passionate about reading. Although I have several hobbies, such as playing badminton and hiking, reading books resonates well with me. There are many reasons I love reading. The first reason is it gives me a level of fulfillment. Books rejuvenate me. After reading a book, I feel like a wholly new being and my outlook on life changes.

Second, reading makes my mind sharper. Books enhance our mental abilities. Reading improves our ability to think critically and make better decisions. Funny to see everyone in the room baffled any time I utter a clever quote from a book.

While reading is a daunting task for most people, for me, it is like a calling. It just comes naturally to me. Whenever I go to bed, it is my practice to read a chapter or two. My reading habits sometimes extend until the wee hours, especially on the weekends, and I only stop when my head becomes too drowsy to keep going. My reading culture is further heightened by my introversion.
